WD Elements 1TB Hard Drive - Great buy, 5 Nov 2009This is my second Elements hard drive from Western Digital.
The newer version has a nicer power pack than the more clumsy old one and a better power connector that actually plugs into the hard drive.
these hard drives seem to be very robust without getting too hot (even after hours of constant use - e.g. reformatting to NTFS). the old one showed no signs of ever letting me down and this newer one seems even better.
they are a good price and i would heartily recommend them to anyone looking for an external HD.
